The incumbent, reporting to the Vice - President of our client organization, will assume management of all manufacturing and operational activities.  He/she will provide leadership and direction to formulate and implement a high-performance culture to provide a competitive edge for the business. He/she will identify, develop and implement long and short-term strategic plans in order to meet operational targets.  This position establishes objectives, policies, standards and production schedules for the plant to ensure volume, quality, and cost-effectiveness.  Responsible for production on designated production lines and inventory control for the entire plant.  


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:    

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree, this is a non-negotiable

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in QDCI (Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation) that is tied to Strategy Deployment (SD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging lean tools, consulting skills, and the change management process.
  • Provide leadership to departments such as Production, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance, Global Sourcing, Purchasing, Logistics & Supply Chain.
  • Lead, direct, and manage the day-to-day activities of the plant to achieve financial and operating key performance indices such as Safety & Compliance OSHA recordable rate, External Quality, Customer OTD, Inventory, Direct Labor Productivity and Gross Margin
  • Provide guidance and develop a team of operational and functional managers to ensure that the plant meets production targets, in accordance to quality, manufacturing costs, safety procedures as well as complying to all relevant laws and regulations
  • Establish operating budgets; monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards
