Vice President, Operations Practice
Jim Kelly is a seasoned operations executive with more than 35 years of experience leading global manufacturing, supply chain, and lean transformation initiatives across companies including General Electric, Danaher, Stanley Black & Decker, Precision Castparts, Lam Research, NORMA Group, and Herff Jones, a Bain Capital portfolio company.
Throughout his career, Jim has held leadership roles spanning Plant Manager, General Manager, Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain, and Vice President of Operations, with responsibility for multi-site global operations, supply chains, and P&L performance.
He has led international plant start-ups in Mexico and China, acquisitions and integrations, operational turnarounds, footprint optimization initiatives, and large-scale capacity expansion programs. A highly respected lean practitioner, Jim learned Six Sigma at GE and Lean at Danaher. Known for his practical, hands-on leadership style, Jim works effectively with both frontline teams and executive leadership to drive sustainable business results through operational excellence and continuous improvement.
