EVAN BERNS

Senior Vice President, Executive Advisor

Evan brings a unique perspective shaped by more than 40 years of leadership—20 years in engineering and technology roles focused on growth and innovation, followed by 20 years in operations, P&L leadership, and CEO positions. He has worked in or consulted with over 1,000 factories worldwide, giving him deep, hands-on experience across a wide range of manufacturing and related processes.


Throughout his career, Evan has successfully driven turnarounds and led enterprise transformations by applying best practices in innovation, organic growth, acquisitions and integrations, lean operations, and organizational development. His results are built on a foundation of formal change management practices, ensuring both performance and sustainability.

He began his career in engineering at GE and Black & Decker, supporting operations and customer applications, before advancing to lead global engineering organizations at Ryobi and Ingersoll-Rand. At Ingersoll-Rand, he was responsible for all product, manufacturing, and information technologies for a $2B group and later served as Corporate Vice President of Engineering. Transitioning into general management, Evan went on to lead stand-alone and portfolio businesses at Danaher, Drivesol Global Steering, IDEX, and Seitz LLC.


Evan holds dual bachelor’s degrees from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
