Jim then assumed full P&L leadership roles at Jason Industries, where he deployed strategy to transform the business and align organizational capabilities with customer needs. He led the development of a low-cost manufacturing site designed to support the company’s top four customers, strengthening competitiveness and performance.
At JBT, Jim led the transformation of three business units through the deployment of strategy and the development of Lean capabilities. He grew revenue and profitability at A&B Process to record levels, earning the John Bean Award for top-performing business unit. In Amsterdam, he stabilized the Aseptic Filling business by applying Lean principles to guide it through an ERP implementation and commercial realignment. In his final role at JBT, he led the Protein NA business—JBT’s most profitable unit—earning a second John Bean Award for outstanding results.
Most recently, Jim served as Senior Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain at Barry-Wehmiller, where he led Lean transformation efforts across the PaperSystems platform in support of the company’s enterprise-wide OpEx 2.0 initiative.
A seasoned practitioner and teacher of Lean principles, Jim is known for his ability to quickly assess complex environments, engage frontline teams and leaders, and translate strategy into measurable, sustainable results.
He holds a BS in Communications from Eastern Michigan University and an MBA from the University of North Carolina-ChapelHill.
