Karl Cerny helps investors, boards, and executive teams accelerate growth and expand EBITDA across public, privately owned, family-owned, and Private Equity-backed B2B businesses. He specializes in diagnosing structural constraints within commercial systems and implementing operating models that convert growth ambition into measurable enterprise value. His work spans commercial diligence & transformation and turnaround execution. Karl partners with leadership teams to validate growth assumptions, uncover revenue and EBITDA leakage, optimize sales and go-to-market strategies, and embed governance and execution systems that sustain performance over time.

Karl began his career at Xerox in sales and progressed through senior leadership roles, ultimately serving as President of the European Xerox Production Printing Group, a $2.3 billion business. He led large, complex organizations across Europe, North America, and Asia, focusing on profitable growth, operational excellence, and employee engagement. He also held senior executive roles across Danaher’s Product Identification and Dental platforms, helping accelerate profitable revenue growth and contributing to company-wide Salesforce Improvement processes. He has been instrumental in multiple successful ownership transitions, ensuring continuity, value creation, and strong operational results.


Karl is based in Europe, but operates globally. He brings deep global expertise in growth strategy deployment and execution, leadership development, and building lean problem-solving cultures. He has worked across multiple industries, including Product Identification, Food & Beverage, Consumer Packaged Goods, Packaging and Logistics, Printing, Dental and Medical Equipment, IT Services, B2B Electronics, AI-driven Healthcare, and Professional Services.


He holds an Engineering degree from TGM, Vienna, and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
