Kelly brings over 40 years of operational leadership experience with deep expertise in Lean transformation and business system deployment. He began his journey at Danaher within the Tool Group platform, where he first learned and applied the power of Lean to drive operational excellence. That experience propelled him into increasingly senior roles leading complex operations within the Danaher family of companies.
He then expanded his Lean leadership to Pall Corporation, serving as Director of the Pall Enterprise System, where he accelerated the adoption of Lean thinking and tools across diverse technologies and global sites. Kelly’s success led him into the Corporate Danaher Business System Office, where he helped shape and deploy Lean strategies across the enterprise—mentoring leaders, standardizing methods, and ensuring the DBS culture embedded deeply into each business.
From there, Kelly advanced into Vice President of Operations at ChemTreat, where he strengthened operational performance and delivered significant improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. His leadership track record continued to grow as he became Global Vice President at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, transforming operations and enabling the business to expand at scale while improving productivity and customer responsiveness.
Most recently, Kelly served as Vice President of the Envista Business System Office, where he led Lean transformation efforts across a newly formed, multinational organization—building the foundation for a sustainable culture of continuous improvement across the Envista portfolio.
A master practitioner and teacher of Lean principles, Kelly is recognized for his ability to rapidly assess complex environments, engage directly with frontline teams and leaders, and turn strategy into measurable results. He builds organizations that don’t just use Lean tools—they live Lean as a leadership system.
He holds a BS in Engineering from Purdue University.
