Rick is a Senior Vice President, Executive Advisor in the Operations Practice of Lean Focus. He has an extensive background in leading large-scale transformation efforts driven by technology and lean principles, having served as Chief Information Officer for three different manufacturing companies.

Starting his career as a manufacturing engineer, Rick was involved in setting up new manufacturing operations based on lean manufacturing methods, eventually moving into consulting and being involved in significant reengineering efforts in the global automotive industry. After pivoting into technology leadership, Rick led ERP transformations in Europe, Asia and North America resulting in significant operating model changes and value creation. Rick also established a shared service center in Europe that supported a wide array of core business processes across finance, HR, procurement, and IT functions.
